Aquarian Press Tarot Cards

Arthurian Tarot The legends, history, and tradition of Arthurian Britain are the theme of the Arthurian Tarot. The major arcana cards depict Merlin, Guinevere, the Lady of the Lake and other familiar characters, while the minor arcana have landscape scenes.

Magickal Tarot The Magickal Tarot has very stylised and symbolic artwork, packed with images of occult significance. The deck is similar to the Aleister Crowley Thoth Tarot in structure.

Merlin Tarot The Merlin Tarot has 78 cards based on the Arthurian legends. The reordered major arcana, aces, and court cards are beautifully drawn, but the suits (Birds are Swords, Serpents are Wands, Fish are Cups, and Beasts are Disks) have very spare pip cards. They are disappointingly repetitive and difficult to interpret intuitively.

Prediction Tarot Published in the mid-eighties, this watercolour tarot is very low key. The art of the Prediction Tarot features pale blues, grey blues, grey greens and old gold inner borders. The minor arcana are pip cards.

Servants of the Light Tarot The Servants of the Light Tarot is a collaboration by English Traditional Witch, Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki (who also created the Shakespearian Tarot) and the authors of the Gill Tarot and Magickal Tarot (Gill completed the majors, Clark the minor cards). The art in the major arcana is particularly deep and vibrant.

Shakespearian Tarot Based on Shakespeare's many and varied plays, the Shakespearian Tarot deck shows Romeo and Juliet as the Lovers, Hamlet as the Hanged Man and Lear the Hermit. Each card has a quote from a Shakespeare play which matches the image.
