The Melissa Lenormand is a 36-card oracle deck. It's inspired by vintage ephemera, postcards and advertising, giving it an antique feel and more complex imagery than is usual for a Lenormand deck. The deck is now completed, and available in a self-published edition.
Melissa Townsend's Tarot is a deck originally drawn on the back of business cards from El Teddy, a New York restaurant where the artist did readings. All of the 78 cards are illustrated in the same coloured, pen-and-ink style, and are roughly based on the Rider-Waite but with a more whimsical and modern feel.
The Merlin Tarot has 78 cards based on the Arthurian legends. The reordered major arcana, aces, and court cards are beautifully drawn, but the suits (Birds are Swords, Serpents are Wands, Fish are Cups, and Beasts are Disks) have very spare pip cards. They are disappointingly repetitive and difficult to interpret intuitively.
