A King's Journey Tarot

The King's Journey Tarot is based on the fool's journey of spiritual growth as he progresses through the trumps. This in-progress deck draws on alchemy, spirituality and the elements and will have 95 cards when complete.

A Passage in Time Tarot

A Passage in Time Tarot aligns historical personalities with the major arcana, and historical periods - Renaissance, Medieval, Byzantine and Roman - with the four minor arcana suits. The deck is as yet unpublished on paper, but is available on an interactive DVD.

A Poet's Tarot

A Poet's Tarot is a women-oriented 74 card deck from 1986. It has black and white non-traditional illustrations on one side, and on the back of each card is a linked poem in purple and silver (instead of a universal design). The suits of Sticks, Bowls, Knives and Pens are numbered from 1 to 13 - there's no distinction made for the court cards.

Abracadabra Tarot

The Abracadabra: Le Streghe Giocano a Carte is a deck illustrated with witchy gnomes at play - gnomes with red noses and apparent alcoholic tendencies. It's a comical deck of 22 cards from Italian publishers, Hermatena.

Abysmal Tarot

The Abysmal Tarot is a new alternative, art tarot with a satanic theme. It is a quality set with 22 cards by ten different artists, each featuring a Devil or demonic aspect. Published in a limited edition of 333 copies, with 22 of these decks having an extra card called Abigor.

Abyssal Tarot

The Abyssal Tarot is a unique art deck with 78 images of sensual underwater photography. The evocative images are aligned with the Rider-Waite tradition, though they differ in appearance.

Act With Tarot

Created to accompany a roleplaying game of the same name, the Art With Tarot has black and white illustrated art with a dark manga look. The card scenes are tarot-related, though non-traditional.

Adrian Tarot

The Adrian Tarot has digitally edited photographic images with a very modern, sexy feel and was created as part of a college project. A figure, usually human, floats in the foreground of the cards on the misty abstract background. Unusual thin white line drawings are overlaid on the borderless cards.

Affirmations for the Everyday Goddess

Affirmations for the Everyday Goddess brings together the tarot archetypes, affirmations, and the essence of the divine feminine, in a visually stunning set of 22 cards. The companion book is a solid 110-page spiritual guidebook.

African American Tarot

The African American Tarot is a strong and vibrantly coloured deck of scenes and imagery of African and Afro-American culture, animals and art. According to the booklet, each card is linked with an important deity, character or location in African-American history.

African Tarot

The African Tarot is a cute revision of the standard Rider-Waite with an African theme. Thick black outlines surround bright colours in the simple and two-dimensional art on small-size cards.

Afro-Brazilian Tarot

The Afro-Brazilian Tarot is dedicated to the divinities of the African Yoruban and Brazilian Candomble religions, and combines these and Santeria with the archetypes of tarot.

Akron Tarot

The Akron Tarot is a German set with 80 cards and a large 395 companion book. The surreal Tarot scenes depart from standard imagery and emphasise the female energies.

Alabaster Tarot

The Alabaster Tarot was originally started as a project to practice Photoshop skills, by creating freehand drawings in the software that were based upon the Rider-Waite imagery. It's very much a clone, though the faces of the people were left blank in this deck, to make them more universal.

Albano-Waite Tarot

Another of the several re-coloured versions of the Rider-Waite Tarot deck. Pamela Colman-Smith's artwork is copied exactly and re-coloured. There are several similar tarot decks, but the Albano-Waite Tarot is loudly coloured, sometimes garishly so.
